The process for producing a 2,3,6-trialkyl-8-fluoro-4-quinoline derivative comprises subjecting 2-fluoroaniline as a starting material to 4-position-selective alkylation and improved Conrad-Limpach synthesis. Thus, the target compound can be efficiently synthesized in one pot in a satisfactory yield.
