<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new production apparatus capable of controlling the production reaction of hydrogen, that is the production quantity of hydrogen, with high precision and having excellent response. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for producing hydrogen by performing pulse-discharge in a raw material A containing a hydrocarbon or an oxygen-containing compound and water to induce the reaction of the hydrocarbon or the oxygen-containing compound with water is provided with: a reactor 10, discharge electrodes 11, 12 provided in the reactor 10; a power source 14 for applying voltage to the discharge electrode 11; a supply passage formed in the discharge electrode 11 and used for supplying the raw material A to a discharge region 13; and electrodes 19, 20 and magnetic poles 21, 22 for applying electric and magnetic fields to the raw material A in the supply passage to fluidize the raw material A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
