<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To define priority and the order of processing or appearance among a group of text modification boxes, which includes a style box, a Karaoke box, and a hypertext box for designating a letter color and a face style, for decide a display effect even if a plurality of types are designated at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: Default text modification data, a text body, and N pieces of text modification data (N represents a positive integer not less than zero) are inputted so that the text body is modified with the default modification data. Then, the text body is modified with the text modification data according to the predetermined order to be displayed.
