<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type rolling bearing, holding a lubricant on a sliding contact surface even in long time use and reducing abrasion. <P>SOLUTION: In this closed type rolling bearing, a plurality of rolling elements are disposed between an outer ring and an inner ring, a sealing plate is fitted to one race of the outer ring or the inner ring, and a lubricant is enclosed.
