<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a weather strip which ensures the stable mounting state. <P>SOLUTION: The weather strip 11 is provided with an extrusion molding part and a die forming part 13 corresponding to a front terminal part and is provided with a base part 21 and a hollow seal part 22. In the die forming part 13, a dimension in a height direction at a cross section of the seal part 22 against the base part 21 becomes smaller than the extrusion molding part. An engagement recessed part of the extrusion molding part is fitted to a vertical piece part 34 of a retainer 32 along a longitudinal direction and the extrusion molding part is temporarily mounted/engaged with a vehicle body side. Subsequently, engagement parts 43, 44 of a clip 41 installed on the die forming part are engaged with an engagement hole 51 of the retainer 32 and the die forming part 13 is temporarily mounted/engaged with the vehicle body side. A mold release paper of pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 14 is peeled off and the weather strip 11 is fixed to a mounting part of a garnish 36 at a vehicle body side by the pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
