<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficiently performing a decomposition treatment of dioxins contained in the exhaust gas of an incinerator by using a pollution medium treatment agent of a cryogentic active type. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus, for treating an exhaust gas containing fly ash and incineration ash and exhausted from a combustion furnace, has a waste heat boiler for recovering heat from the exhaust gas from the combustion furnace; a gas cooling apparatus for cooling the waste gas from the waste heat boiler to a specified temperature; a dust collection apparatus for treating the exhaust gas from the gas cooling apparatus to separate fly ash and incineration ash from the exhaust gas; and an apparatus for supplying a pollution medium treatment agent to the exhaust gas from the combustion furnace to the waste heat boiler and/or the exhaust gas from the the waste heat boiler to the gas cooling apparatus and/or the exhaust gas from the gas cooling apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
