摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural vibration frequency measuring method of a brake disc capable of measuring the natural vibration frequency in an in-plane vibration mode with high accuracy by generating the vibration corresponding to the in-plane vibration on the brake disc by properly exciting the same. SOLUTION: This brake disc as a measurement object comprises a disc main body part, a mounting flange and an approximately cylindrical hat part connecting them. An outer peripheral face of the disc main body part or the hat part is radially excited, or the mounting flange part is excited in the rotating shaft direction, and its response waves in excitation is detected by a sensor such as a microphone. The frequency of the detected response wave is analyzed to grasp the natural vibration frequency in the in-plane vibration mode of the brake disc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
