PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch that can use large light emitting devices and can illuminate operating portions as brightly and widely as possible while reducing the number of mounted light emitting devices. SOLUTION: A light guide plate 7 for guiding light 12 produced by light emission of a light emitting device 9 mounted on a circuit 4 and for illuminating an illumination portion 13 of a surface sheet 2 with the guided light from the light emitting device 9, is arranged farther inside the circuit 4 arranged inside the surface sheet 2 in a position to ensure the circuit 4 a light-transparent function.
