PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera easily carrying out the adjustment of an optical axis without restricting the number of pixels in a solid-state image pickup element. SOLUTION: Subject light is conducted to a photographic lens installed in a vertical direction of a camera body 101 by projecting a reflective mirror 111 to a photographing position where subject light can be conducted only at the time of photography and photographing is carried out. When photographing is not carried out, the reflective mirror 111 is stored inside the camera body 101 and the camera can be compact for portability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
