<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device for a Haiku in which advantages of equipment are effectively utilized and user-friendliness is taken into account. <P>SOLUTION: A stored image and a stored Haiku are displayed while related to each other. An imaging part is provided for images to be stored. A communication part is provided for transmitting-receiving the image, the Haiku and the result of the selected Haiku as needed. The stored Haiku and stored Haiku selection information are displayed while being related to each other. The stored Haiku is displayed and based upon the passage of time and a Haiku selecting operation, stagnation information of the Haiku to be selected is displayed.
