<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OA equipment control system and a server computer for accurately and easily selecting desired OA equipment by acquiring a map of the newest OA equipment in all client devices for sharing the OA equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A server holds map information for indicating the map of an area for arranging the OA equipment and position information for indicating an arranging position of the OA equipment, and rewrites the position information on the basis of rewriting information when receiving the rewriting information for rewriting the position information on the OA equipment from a client device such as a client, a printer or a scanner, and transmits the map information and the position information to the client when receiving a selection request for requesting to select the printer for printing and outputting image data from, for example, the client. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
