<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oligonucleotide specifically detecting a cabbage DNA and to provide a method for judging the presence or absence of a cabbage inclusion a raw material kale (Brassica oleracea var. acephala) or a kale food by using the oligonucleotide as a primer in a polymerase chain reaction (PCR). <P>SOLUTION: The oligonucleotide specifically detecting the cabbage DNA is used as the primer for detecting the cabbage DNA. Thereby, the PCR is carried out by using a DNA extracted from the raw material kale or the kale processed food as a template. The cabbage inclusion the raw material kale or kale processed food is discriminated by comparing the kale DNA with the cabbage DNA in an electrophoretic pattern by electrophoresis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
