<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor which generates synthesized sounds up to the upper limit of its performance by dynamically changing the number of sounds for generating synthesized sounds in accordance with a measured processing volume of the data processor. <P>SOLUTION: The data processor is provided with a processing volume measurement section 108 for measuring an entire processing volume of the data processor to generate a measured processing volume, a musical score data selection section 109 for selecting any of a plurality of note data of musical score data on the basis of the measured processing volume from the processing volume measurement section 108, and a synthesized sound generation means for converting the note data selected by the musical score data selection section 109 to synthesized sounds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
