NETWORK PATH SETTING METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network path setting method and system capable of quickly setting paths over a plurality of layers.

SOLUTION: A data transmission node requests a data reception node to start a signaling session of a setup only to a reverse direction path (from the standpoint of signaling) from the data reception node and transmits a signaling start request to the data reception node. Further, a relay node recognizes a border of the layers and transfers a path setting request to an adjacent node by appropriating the request to the layer of the adjacent node.
