PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector which is adapted to reduce its height and size, and in which a first and a second objective parts are securely connected electrically and mechanically.

SOLUTION: The second connector 73 comprises a tabular connector inserting part 83 having a plurality of conductive portions which are electrically connected to respective contact members 81 of the first connector 70 by being inserted thereinto, a fitting opening 140 formed integrally with the connector inserting part 83 into which a housing 80 is fitted, and a tabular fixing part 85 which fixes the connector inserting part 83 to the housing 80 so that the connector inserting part 83 cannot come off the contact members 81 in a state that the housing 80 is fitted in the fitting opening 140.
