PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and easily discriminate the information on video.

SOLUTION: A user interface 260 displays a cliplet, its information and its property. A user can easily discriminate contents of the video and interesting parts from the user interface 260. The cliplet user interface method includes displaying a plurality of two-dimensional cliplets 410 together with the cliplet information. The cliplet user interface system includes a plurality of key frame windows 420 for displaying the cliplet and a key frame within each key frame window 420 representating the cliplet. The cliplet user interface system includes a cliplet property presentation area 430 for displaying the cliplet interest assessment. The cliplet interest assessment indicates the quantity of interesting contents in the cliplet associated with a specific cliplet property.
