PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording method which enhances the security of data recorded on an optical disk. SOLUTION: When data are recorded onto the optical disk D set to a body, an optical disk recording device 1 records data, controlling laser power so that reproduced signal quality of data recorded varies according to a pattern set beforehand. Accordingly, from changes of reproduced signal quality of data recorded on the optical disk D, it can be discriminated whether the optical disk is a proper master disk or a copy disk made unjustly.
