PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the lowering of density and weight reduction while ensuring moldability even if a product shape is large in the vacuum foam molding of foam such as a pad for a car seat. SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus for a foamed molded object is equipped with a mold 14 made operable between a horizontal posture and an inclined posture inclined at a predetermined angleθ, an evacuation device 16 for sucking the air in a mold cavity 12 to evacuate the cavity 12 and an injection device 18 for injecting a foamable raw material U in the cavity 12. As the evacuation device 10, a plurality of ejector pumps 46A-46C are used. Then, a hermetically closed chamber part 42 is formed to the outer periphery of the mold splitting surface 24 of the mold 14 to form a hermetically closed chamber part 42 and an exhaustion groove 44 for allowing the cavity 12 and the chamber part 42 to communicate with the upper side region in the inclined posture of the mold 14 is formed on the mold splitting surface 24.
