METHOD FOR FLUSHING RESIN KNEADING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for flushing a resin kneading device which can reduce a cleaning resin composition amount and a low viscosity thermoplastic resin composition amount required to be replaced in the resin kneading device when melt extruding is switched from a high viscosity thermoplastic resin composition to a low viscosity thermoplastic resin composition in the resin kneading device having a resin extruder containing a screw. SOLUTION: The method for flushing to extrude flushing resin composition before the low viscosity thermoplastic resin composition is extruded after the high viscosity thermoplastic resin composition is extruded to switch the molten extruded resin from the high viscosity thermoplastic resin to the low viscosity thermoplastic resin composition having a melt viscosity of 1/250 or less of the high viscosity thermoplastic resin composition in the resin kneading device having the resin extruder containing the screw includes the steps of using flushing resin composition having at least two different melt viscosities and sequentially extruding from the flushing resin composition having highest viscosity.
