PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key pad and key pad system capable of reducing the labor or cost on a user side and contributing to reduction in weight, thickness and size by eliminating the mounting of a power source (battery charger, etc.) in a wireless key pad. SOLUTION: This key pad system comprises the key pad having a plurality of input keys and one or more RF-ID in conformation to respective keys; and a host device having a RF-ID reading means wirelessly connected to the key pad by RF-ID to read key information accumulated in the RF-ID and a control means connected to the RF-ID reading means to obtain the key information from the RF-ID reading means and execute an operation including control.
