PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate unsealing work for a canister to enhance workability in a canister cutter. SOLUTION: In this canister cutter 31, an attaching pedestal 32 of a ringlike shape is attached detachably to a primary lid 24, a turn table 35 is supported turnably to the pedestal 32 to be movable along a lid welding part 24a by a motor 37 for turning, and a cutting tool 45 having an end mill 46 in its tip part is attached to the turn table 35 to be movable between a cutting position and an evacuation position by a tool driving motor 48.
