PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a tire rim assembly, and a pneumatic tire for preventing damage on a bead part of the pneumatic tire in engaging the pneumatic tire with the rim. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire is engaged with the rim by applying lubricant on a front surface on a tire inner side of a bead tow part of the pneumatic tire or a rim flange tip end part of the rim where the bead tow part of the pneumatic tire is in contact when engaged.
