PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operation for mounting a binding metal fitting to a paper binder using the binding metal fitting having such a shape that a spring plate is bent into a triangular shape. SOLUTION: A predetermined number of the binding metal fittings are arranged in one row and front and rear binding metal fittings are mutually bonded and connected by a fragile adhesive to form a binding metal fitting unit which is, in turn, mounted on the paper binder. When papers are bound, the head binding metal fitting is separated from the unit by the operation member in the paper binder and pushed out to bind a paper bundle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
