PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain space saving and the improvement of productivity, and to attain the remarkable reduction in equipment cost, chemicals cost, the number of management stages and a load of waste water treatment even to a composite body of iron and aluminum. SOLUTION: An apparatus is provided with a treatment tank 101 in which a degreasing/chemical conversion treatment liquid at least comprising a mixed solvent of a polar organic solvent and water in a weight ratio of 2.8:7.2 to 3.8:6.2, and sodium ions and/or lithium ions, phosphoric ions, zinc ions, nickel ions, manganese ions, nitrate ions and/or nitrite ions is filled, and an automobile body B is dipped. Then, the poststage of the treatment tank 101 is provided with a rinse tank 120 for performing cleaning with pure water. The poststage of the rinse tank 120 is provided with an aluminum chemical conversion treatment zone 300 for spraying a chemical conversion treatment liquid for aluminum on the automobile body B. The poststage of the aluminum chemical conversion treatment zone 300 is provided with a rinse tank 201 in which a cleaning liquid is filled, and the automobile body B is dipped.
