<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of suppressing power consumption by reducing the number of times for energizing a heater and the number of times for energizing a fan motor so as not to immediately perform a recording operation even if picture data is received in the case of high possibility that there is no person around the communication terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: When the picture data is received by fax from a remote facsimile machine, it is determined whether the received picture data is immediately recorded in a recording part 50 on the basis of detection signals from an ambient temperature sensor 121 and an ambient humidity sensor 122. Because of this, when there is high possibility that nobody is around a composite machine 1, the recording operation is not immediately carried out even if the picture data is received. Then, the number of times for energizing the heater 51 and the number of times for generating the fan motor 52 are reduced to suppress the power consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
