<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inconvenience to customers in on-line shopping such that a product which a customer puts into a shopping basket turns out to be out of stock after the customer starts or finishes a purchasing procedure. <P>SOLUTION: In on-line shopping, when a customer displays a product which the customer is interested on a screen of a customer terminal 101, the number of sales unit is subtracted from the number of stock of the product, and then the product is tentative reserved.
