PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing metal fine powder by which metal fine powder of high purity which is finer than the conventional one, further has a uniform particle diameter, and does not comprise impurities can more inexpensively and more safely be produced in bulk. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of pH≤7 comprising tetravalent titanium ions is subjected to cathode electrolytic treatment, and a part of the tetravalent titanium ions is reduced to obtain a reducer aqueous solution in which tervalent titanium ions and the tetravalent titanium ions coexist. A water soluble compound of metallic elements to be formed into metal fine powder is added to the reducer aqueous solution, and they are mixed. By the reduction effect in oxidation of the tervalent titanium ions into the tetravalent ones, the ions of the metallic elements are reduced and precipitated to obtain the metal fine powder.
