PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to variously select video to be displayed when preventing burning of a display screen. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 10 discriminates whether or not any operation is performed before the lapse of preset prescribed time and when it is discriminated that no operation is performed before the lapse of the prescribed time as a result, a displayed picture is erased. Afterwards, the information processing apparatus 10 transmits a distribution request of video for displaying the erased picture to a video distributing apparatus 20 and when video corresponding to the transmitted distribution request is received, the received video is displayed. When the distribution request is received from the information processing apparatus 10, the video distributing apparatus 20 distributes video stored in a storage means to the information processing apparatus 10 of a distribution request source.
