PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a mechanism in which a display portion in non-use status can be utilized just like ornament since it was functionally turned off in a case and has not been helpful at all, in spite that a conventional portable telephone has highly an efficient color display portion. SOLUTION: In the portable telephone of which a primary device equipped with keys input unit and a secondary device equipped with a display portion are set to connect foldable, the portable telephone is provided with a means to have foldable linkage where the display portion of the secondary device of the above is turned and exposed on side front, and the primary device or the secondary device is equipped with strap.
