PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contrast while preventing a black luminance level from looking high at images connecting parts. SOLUTION: A multiple image display system 10 is provided with a signal generation source 12, an image dividing device 14, luminance correction circuits 16A and 16B, display devices 18A and 18B, etc. The luminance correction circuits 16A and 16B operate as a luminance correcting means that gradually changes black luminance from a level of overlapping regions F2 to a level of an unoverlapping region F1 in a region F3 that is from the edge of the overlapping regions F2 at the connection part of a plurality of images to a fixed distance of the unoverlapping region F1.
