PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of error in the airflow rate control even if looseness is generated in the rotating direction of an airflow rate control damper by pressing the looseness with the air pressure to eliminate a displacement of the airflow rate control damper due to the looseness. SOLUTION: In a combustion burner wherein the airflow rate control damper 6 provided with damper plate parts 61 and 62 in both sides of a rotary shaft C is arranged in a ventilation passage 5 formed from a blower 2 to a combustion cylinder 11, the damper parts of the airflow rate control damper formed in both sides are formed asymmetry in relation to the rotary shaft so that pressure receiving areas of the damper plate parts provided in both sides of the rotary shaft are different from each other.
