The invention relates to a shock wave damper-fixing device and a shock wave damper and firearm which are equipped with one such fixing device. The inventive device is used to fix a shock wave damper to at least one barrel (2a, 2b) of a firearm (1) comprising barrel (2a, 2b) support means and means of fixing to the body of the shock wave damper (3). The inventive device is characterised in that it comprises a support piece (9) which can be applied against a surface of the body (8) of the shock wave damper (3) and which is disposed transversely in relation to the length direction thereof, in order to transmit longitudinal stresses to said shock wave damper (3).
