The invention relates to a gas-containing dessert product which comprises a mixture of a dairy product and a whipped foamable product in which the dairy product has a substantially neutral pH and the whipped foamable product comprises an edible fat and the product comprises gas bubbles with a maximum gas bubble diameter of 25 mu m. This maximum gas bubble diameter is stable for at least 15 days after production thereof. <??>The invention also relates to a method for preparation of a gas-containing dessert product in which a foamable product is whipped to a gas bubble diameter of a maximum of 25 mu m and an overrun > 200% and said whipped foamable product is then mixed with a dairy product in such a way that the final gas-containing dessert product has an overrun of 10-150%. |
