IMAGING APPARATUS AND IMAGING METHOD FOR READING TWO OR MORE REGIONS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate checking in local images and increase the speed of signal processing by limiting imaging signals obtained from an imaging section to a signal from a plurality of arbitrary regions within an imaging surface.

SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus, a plurality of pixels are aligned two-dimensionally at the imaging section 700, each pixel has an independent address, and a read address is given to each pixel. A signal processing section 800 can generate an address for specifying the plurality of arbitrary regions in the imaging region when an imaging signal is read from the imaging section.
