<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic voting module and electronic voting method capable of preventing spoofing or refusal, solving the time difference by regional difference, and further preventing the alteration of an electronic voting content with a simple facility. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic voting module has an interface 11 connected to an electronic equipment terminal for performing an electronic voting through a network; a quartz clock 30 which generates time information; a time calibration means 21 having a storage part 13 of tamper resisting structure and an arithmetic part 20, which is connected to a prescribed time monitoring center 3 through the electronic equipment terminal 1 at least at the time of starting to take the time calibration by the quartz clock 30 and receive a time monitoring certificate; and a time stamp means 22 for acquiring, subject to receipt of electronic voting information consisting of the electronic voting data from the electronic voting means of the electronic equipment terminal 1 or its one-way function value, the time information of the time concerned from the quartz clock 30, and outputting an electronic certificate obtained by signing the electronic voting information and electronic voting time information by use of the secrete key of a prescribed public key encryption system with the time monitoring certificate to the electronic voting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
