<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image creating device which allocates an object described in a document at an appropriate position in a back ground image. <P>SOLUTION: A syntax analyzing part 11 abstracts the document type from input XML data 55. A mapping rule selection part 15 selects area form data 21 to be used, a position information mapping rule, and a display form mapping rule based on the document type. A display position determination part 13 determines a position of the object which is displayed in the back ground image based on the position information of the object abstracted from the XML data 55.
