PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a time for TMC data reception is reduced significantly by storing/updating operation if RDS (radio data system) data is stored and updated for all of RDS stations within FM broadcast bands at once. SOLUTION: The device comprises a special information extracting unit 21 for extracting a PI (program identification) code preferentially from a multiplex broadcast signal which multiplexes RDS data arrived from all RDS stations within receivable FM broadcast bands, an ordinary information extracting unit 22 for extracting RDS data other than the PI code extracted at the special information extracting unit 21, and a data updating unit 23 for storing/updating preferentially the PI code extracted by the special information extracting unit 21 to a memory 7 and storing/updating the RDS data extracted by the ordinary information extracting unit 22 to the memory 7 after storing/updating of the PI code.
