PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-shaped electric connector in a lower side housing and a cover of which, a supplementary contact assembly can be fitted only by a linea insertion. SOLUTION: The plugged connector 1 is equipped with a housing 2 composed of a lower housing 3 and a cover 4, at least one terminal point having a receiver pocket 6 formed in the lower housing and cover, and a supplementary contact assembly composed of a clamp 7 and a conductor rail 9. The clamp has an arc-shaped tension spring 8 coming into contact with a conductor. The conductor rail has a contact region 10 receiving an opposite contact. The cover has an actuator passage 11, and an inclined guide protrusion 12 extending in the actuator passage for guiding a drive tool for driving the clamp. The inclined guide protrusion is formed as a web, and the arc-shaped tension spring has an opening. When the cover is placed on the supplementary contact assembly and fitted to the lower housing, the opening allows the inclined guide protrusion to pass though. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
