A wall angle (10) for use in installing a suspended ceiling grid structure within a walled enclosure (12). The wall angle (10) includes an elongated bo dy defining, in cross section, an angled profile with a first side (16) and a second interconnecting and extending side (18). A first series of markings (22, 24, 26, 46) are placed at first selected intervals along the body and f or marking first iterative locations for engagement of main runners and hanger wires. A second series of markings (48, 50, 30) are placed at second selecte d length intervals along the body for marking locations for engagement of the wall angle (12) to vertically extending wall studs. A third series of markin gs (38, 40,.42, 44, 46, 64, 66, 68, 72, 74) are placed at third selected length intervals in pairs along the first and second sides of the body for establishing a selected overall height and length of the grid structure. The individual pair of marks being established in opposing substantially triangular shape capable of supporting channels for a resiliently engaged marking indicia.
