<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music sound formation circuit capable of composing complicated musical sound waveforms without reducing the number of sound productions. <P>SOLUTION: A phase generator 1 generates phase data by accumulating frequency numbers FN. Waveform memories 2a to 2d are the ones in which pieces of waveform data are stored, in each address terminal of which pieces of phase data A, B, C, D, etc. outputted from the phase generator 1 are inputted and pieces of the waveform data inside are read by pieces of the phase data A, B, C, D, etc. The read pieces of waveform data are levelled by levelling circuits 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, etc. and outputted to a mixing circuit 4. The mixing circuit 4 mixes pieces of output data of the levelling circuits 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, etc. and outputs them as waveform data Wout.
