<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven wherein a finish temperature of a food does not change large in response to a container and shape thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This microwave oven is provided with an infrared ray sensor 2 and a control unit 12. After heating a food with the microwave for the predetermined time, heating is stopped once, and the infrared rays emitted from the food is observed before stopping the heating and during the stop of heating, and both values are compared with each other to control the heating means on the basis of a result of the detection about a delay of conduction of heat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
