<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric unlocking type door lock device excellent in assembly workability and working smoothly for a long term. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric unlocking type door lock device for vehicles, a motor drive unit is provided with a cam gear integrally having an engaging cam face engaging with a ratchet and a worm wheel, a motor having a worm 21a meshing with the worm wheel of the cam gear, a spring means turnably restoring the cam gear to the position where the engaging cam face does not engage with the ratchet, and a motor housing 20 integrally constituted of a motor accommodation part and a split-cylinder-like recess bearing having a turning shaft of the cam gear and a worm shaft supporting a free end of the worm shaft installed detachably from a direction crossing an axis. Further, when the worm is rotationally driven in the unlocking direction, the inclination of tooth face of the worm wheel and the position of the split-cylinder-like recess bearing are set so that the front end of the worm receives a force in the direction to bring the tip end of the worm in close contact with the bearing . <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
