PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket checking and collecting device allowing a specific pedestrian, especially a disabled person using a wheel chair to easily put a radio type recording medium over an antenna. SOLUTION: In this automatic ticket checking and collecting device capable of processing a radio card, a first antenna 16a for normal use is provided in the upper part of a device body 2, and a second antenna 16b for exclusive use for handicapped persons using a wheel chair is provided on a side part of a passage side. The antenna for communicating is controlled on the basis of presence of information indicating the specific pedestrian stored in the radio card. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
