PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mineral releasing material which has a simple structure, is convenient to carry, and can easily obtain drinking water with a desired mineral component ratio, and a food and drink container, a portable container, and a rice cooker using it. SOLUTION: In the mineral releasing material 10, its raw material 13 is prepared by mixing desired mineral components 12A, 12B, 12C at the desired ratio. The raw material 13 is molded to have a shape of size capable of being carried, for example, a spherical shape having a diameter of about 2-3 cm, and at the same time a number of minute uneven parts 16 are formed to increase the surface area of the raw material. The molded body 14 is accommodated in a heating furnace 15, then heated and sintered at a high temperature of≥600°C to produce the mineral releasing material 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
