<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small-sized harmonic laser device having a long lifetime. <P>SOLUTION: The harmonic laser device includes a solid state laser medium (14) disposed in a resonator having a reflecting mirror (13) and an output mirror (16), a nonlinear optical crystal (15) disposed inside or outside the resonator, and a moving mechanism (21) for moving the position of the nonlinear optical crystal (15) in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis of the laser beam. The moving mechanism (21) is continuously moved at a laser irradiating time and uses a servo motor, a linear motor or a piezoelectric element. Or, an optical element (22) may be provided with the moving mechanism which changes the passing position of the laser beam on the nonlinear optical crystal (15) cooperative with the laser irradiation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
