<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new blue light-emitting compound having more excellent luminous efficiency and improved thin film safeness than conventional blue light-emitting compounds, and to provide an organic electroluminescent element using the blue light-emitting compound as a luminescent material or a dopant material. <P>SOLUTION: The blue light-emitting compound for organic electroluminescent elements and the organic electroluminescent element using the compound are provided. The blue light-emitting compound for organic electroluminescent devices is represented by chemical formula 1. And the organic electroluminescent element comprises the blue light-emitting compound for organic electroluminescent elements. Wherein, in the formula 1, R<SB>1</SB>to R<SB>8</SB>are each independently one acting group selected from a group consisting of a 1-30C alkyl, alkoxy, carbocycle, aryl, heterocycle and modified aromatic compound.
