PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost by simplifying a case structure and by reducing the number of parts and efforts for assembly; and to surely prevent a switch panel from being detached from a main body case even if an electric shaver is heavily shocked by enhancing strength of a structure of the switch panel, in the electric shaver of which the shaver head is held by lifting. SOLUTION: The shaver has an operation unit 2 and a main body case 1 for storing the operation unit 2, and the operation unit 2 includes a shaver head 2B and an electrical component unit 2A. The shaver head 2B is held to be freely lifted to the body case 1, and the body case 1 is formed in a shape of a bottomed cylinder while only a top face can be opened. The electrical component unit 2A is loaded into the body case 1 from the top opening of the body case 1 and fastened to the body case 1 by screwing a screw 38 from a side of a bottom wall of the body case 1 to a frame 16 of the body case 1. Furthermore, a mounting part 9 is formed by layer-down in front of the body case 1, and a switch panel 3 formed in a shape like a gutter is fixed to the mounting part 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
