PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge and an ink supply device that can prevent the ink from leaking to the outside. SOLUTION: A sealing cover 26 closes an air ventilating pipe 24 communicating with an ink housing section 21 from a side of an ink reserving section 25. As a result, it is possible to prevent the ink 2 in the ink housing section 21 from leaking to the outside from an external communication hole 23 by flowing to the ink reserving section 25 passing through the air introducing pipe 24.
