PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder in which a recording head can be sustained in a good state even when an ink cartridge is not fixed. SOLUTION: A cover body 34 for sealing an ink introduction port 21a is arranged, to be contained and developed freely, on the inner wall of a cover 32 fixed, to be opened and closed freely, to a holder 31 for containing an ink cartridge 146 and containing the ink cartridge. Since ink can be held in an ink channel between the ink introduction port and the ink channel by sealing the ink introduction port 21a even if the ink cartridge is not fixed over a long term, the ink channel can be prevented from drying up and dust can be prevented from intruding into the ink channel.
