PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment-friendly coffin in and from which a cold insulating agent being a dead body decay prevention countermeasure is instantaneously and easily put and taken, and from which the cold insulating agent is removed without disarraying the inner part of the coffin, and which does not produce dioxins. SOLUTION: This environment-friendly coffin is made of: water-repellent and waterproofing paper; a recycled base material; and a base material without producing toxic substance in incineration. The coffin includes: a cold insulating agent throw-in part (1) where a plurality of circular or square cylinders are connected to form a U shape, and the cold insulating agent is freely put in/out at the both ends; a dead body storage case (2) whose front surface is covered so as to match the shape of the cold insulating agent throw-in part (1); a cold insulating agent throw-in shaping (3) formed in a way such that both side surfaces of the dead body storage case for covering a cold insulating agent throw-in port are shaped in advance to have the shape of the throw-in port in order to rapidly throw in the cold insulating agent to a desired place, and also the cold insulating agent is easily taken out; and a lid (4) for the cold insulating agent throw-in part. The cold insulating agent throw-in part is used also as a reinforcing means to prevent the coffin from losing the shape by the heavy pressure of the dead body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
